steamboat at novena with lizhen and mei li to celebrate my 21st : )
they have yummy fried mantous and onions rings!
now i'm having cravings for fried mantous already. hahas.
mummy agreed to prepare steamboat for my 21st! :D
that was my special request.
for the past few years of CNY, we never have any family steamboat.
i guess the yearly praying stuffs made her too tired to prepare.
i always love her steamboat to the max.
cuz the broth she prepared is really really yummy.
its one i can never never find outside.
mummy's broth is the best!
this is the biggest surprise for my 21st!
seriously i never expect this to come from them.
we dont have the family trend of celebrating bdays.
the lights just went off and for the moment i thought it was short circuit. lols.

my 21st seems to be tied very closely with kids.
first was the little boy at esplanade.
next was the one at night safari.
and on my actual day, i have sharlyn and sharmaine as the surprise guests! :D
my bday this year was very much filled with touching moments.
the things my friends did to touch my heart, and a few almost moved mi to tears.
i received many many handmade gifts this year.
and i must say they meant more than all other things : )

he adjusted the timing such that its a 2mins 1sec flash, cuz its my 21st.
looking at the flash really brings back fond recollections of the shell old days.
i know he spent alot of effort in doing this.
its really very well done.

and he claimed that its too simple to be my 21st bday gift.
but not at all, i'm someone who appreciates every little thing my friends do.
its the little thoughts that content mi alot : )
sometimes, you will just smile when you know how you can influence a friend to be happy.
i wouldnt know if not for the birthday cards from friends.
and i'm very pleased to hear that from them.
influencing others with my positive nature is something i'm most happy to do.
and i shall keep this going!
and of cuz to all other friends who bought mi a gift, i'm much thankful as well.
