after a round of discussion, we finally carried out our long-awaiting 38TB camping picnic outing!
the venue was west coast park, my very first time there.
from there, i can see jurong island!

i personally find west coast a better place than east coast.
the place has many routes to explore around, and really spacious for you to carry out any plans you like.
for instance, picnic, kite-flying, frisby, soccer, roller-blading, and many more.
their fitness corner is extremely fun too!
something that totally caught our attention is the flying fox!

seriously this thing kept us entertained for like nearly an hour or two.
initially i didnt really have the courage to hop on to the seat.
but once you get it right, you will just keep going on and on!
its plain FUN!
we played for awhile in the daytime, and at night we totally cling on to it like nobody's business!
the guys even played things like 'catch-the-slippers-while-you-fly!'
damn hilarious can!
and at the end of the day, i went home with 3 bruises!

kite-flying! :D
it was another first time again. hahas.
i didnt really get the feel of it, cuz the guys handled it very well.
i wasnt very sure of the way to release and fly it.
but still, you will still feel the fun out of it, watching your kite gradually soaring into the beautiful sky.
look at how far and high our kite soared.
its really tiny miny!

i love the beautiful clear blue sky : )

in the blink of an eye, its nightfall.
time to get started with the tent-pitching!

basically i just played my role as a camera lady!
i know nuts about pitching a tent and everything was nicely done by them.
in fact, i almost destroyed the tent at a point of time :X
good thing the pillars werent faulty otherwise i would feel damn guilty.

our potluck picnic food!
ah li made the jellies himself.
and the food yi prepared for us was heavenly nice!
baked potato topped with tartar cream and crispy bacon bits.
the combination of everything tastes like wonders!
thumbs up for it!

here comes the very interesting part..

the surprise from our dearest tuesdayboys!
they were very secretive about what they gonna prepare.
and we were kept in suspense.
until they took out the tools and all and we went 'WAHH!'
they made use of solid wax to serve as fire to heat up the food.
they even brought along cooking oil, eggs, and maggie mee!
what a creative and amazing idea!

we spent our night exploring the place.
and i cant believe i actually hit the pyramid.
the sight of it triggered my phobia.
but i made an attempt to climb my way up.
even though i didnt hit all the way up, but it was already an acheivement for mi who has severe phobia for heights.

all in all, the day was very eventfully spent.
and i enjoyed every part of it with my 38TB!

next up, a farewell outing before ah bird be a real man!

we love kbox as much as we love 38TB! :D

ah bird is so so sooooo sweet.
he prepared a little gift for all of us!

and thats our gift for him!
it was supposed to be a bday gift.
but due to some circumstances, it was delayed.
anyway, its a globe with photos and simple decorations.
there's something censored in there. hahahas.

our first attempt to act cool failed.
we were trying very hard but you can obviously see the slight smiles on our faces.
and somehow i really love the last shot!
totally COOL!

my entries are accumulating.
i still have lots of unsettled photos.
i need to catch up FAST.

time to hit the sacks.
nights people!

bits and pieces of my memories.
